A thought provoking essay by H. L. Mencken titled "Where Is The Graveyard of Dead Gods" During this post I learned that the grammarian for Google is probably a Christian because autocorrect kept making the word gods when capitalized possessive.
"Where is the Graveyard of Dead Gods? | Ed Brayton" [patheos.com]
Graveyards are everywhere. We are the gods. People are the gods. Some people-gods do good things and some do evil things. Some people-gods have power and influence over other people-gods so that they can be elected president, or have their albums purchased to make them money, or tickets sold by fan-gods that pay for watching baseball player-gods play ball and make a lot of money.
Referring to "people " it has been well accepted for 1000s of years Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'? John 10:34
Illogical atheist thinks "god" is about pasta in the sky with meatballs.
I wonder if life made up of opposites or just simply complementary states as in day and night etc etc?
