trump, or harris? on this public stage this is now an 8 year plus mini series, the famous ongoing conferacy of dunces. the secondary point i should have made first is that the one thoughtful candidate of reason, and the one most directly relevant to the planetary peril we face, gov inslee of washington, was shucked off early by the democrats. and blumberg, schucked. now we are left with a black movement hack qued to inherit the presidenty from a centrist hack in 4 years or less. and four years ago the upshot of the republican clown car was a super clown. why were these our choices? isnt our constitution mortally flawed? isnt the political function of our "republic" mortally flawed? and arnt we, a self proclaimed harbor of reason, supposed to stand up with a rational opposition? i hope the thoughtful among you will look up a series of editorial essays written, in the '80s was it(?), by editor lewis lapham of harpers magazine, in which he bemoans the confabulation of american politics with show business. is that phenominon seminal to the ongoing catastrophe we face today? or television itself? or the race riots before which we still cower? its very complex, and all i did with my simple observation was stir the shark tank. was hoping to be heard my the presumed silent majority of the thoughtful and the smart that used to make their vioces heard here. but look who surfaced. for that i apologize.
