If someone's not happy with the Senate's verdict that found Trump "not guilty," this map might suggest a plan by which they can do something about it?

Ron Johnson is leaning towards retiring. Keep the pressure up all of my cheesehead compatriots. I write him once a week or more if I am angry. Which I always am. Take back Wisconsin!

Good for you; keep the pressure up. They can run but they can't hide. LOL

All look like Conservative strongholds. I think our challenge is to defend Democratic seats. The Trump supporters are more motivated than we are.

Sadly your last sentence has often been true. Hopefully, reality has motivated those who have sat on the sidelines to more actively involved themselves in defending their democracy.

@josephr

We oppose religion here but I often wonder if there is a stronger drug than religion that can motivate people as hard it has throughout the history. It waged brutal wars, crusades, missionaries went to the remote parts of the world, they built magnanimous Cathedrals, they build churches faster than they put their own broken lives together, build hospitals, start charities, raise huge monies, they heed mad calls of religious leaders to kill anyone, sacrifice own children, burn people at the stake, do other atrocities in God's name, and march on political leaders calls to do as the leader wants.

It is very hard to follow this act by we being passive atheists, uninterested in religion and what it does and just staying away from what these crazy people do. And I think this is exactly what gives them room to play.

Unless atheists win power, none of our side efforts, complains and whining is going to work. Christianity and Islam spread because they made emperors, kings adopt their faith. Hinduism did not break out beyond their land in spite of being the oldest but Buddhism spread only because of patronage of kings.

It is time that FFRF and all other anti-religion organization begin getting powerfully funded and they start making their voice known in all government affairs at all levels... from school boards to Congress/parliaments to presidents and prime ministers including all courts.

@St-Sinner Truth be known, i don't oppose religions or spirituality; i oppose religious intolerance, bigotry and the violent, abusive evangelising and proselytising of personal religious beliefs.

Good to know.

Almost all of these senators are from red states where their seats are very safe, so, nice idea, but it's not likely most of them can be bounced...

If people don't try, then the outcomes will be a foregone conclusion; as with most important issues. Doing nothing is most often doing something. LOL
