Did you fall for it? Very tidy handwriting for someone that can't spell, wink wink!

Your neighbor spelled "List" correctly. Datz de ownly wird speld ryte

Flower is too, just a homophone (I thought it was synonym, glad I checked)

@Honorabledougn Homonym.

@Honorabledougn I never heard of a homophone. Had to look this up. Homonyms are words which sound alike or are spelled alike. In a strict sense, a homonym is a word that both sounds and is spelled the same as another word. ... In loose terms, both homographs and homophones are a kind of homonym because they either sounds the same (homophone) or are spelled the same (homograph)

I dunno. Every so often I try writing a word and it just looks wrong. Dictionary.com is a great resource. Sometimes it's correct but looks off, other times even dictionary.com can't offer any suggestions that are close to the word I'm trying to find.

I hate when spell check tells me "huh?, I got nothing."

Ah, that’s very neat though. I once read a story about a famous artist/ inventor, (I though Da Vinci or Einstein), drawing their shopping list for their maid. Darned if I can find link now though 🙂

Hmm broccoli and cauliflower must be a bitch.

I used to get a lot of shopping lists, directions and questions by text from my ex-boyfriend who was a horrible speller. Even auto-correct couldn't help him, in fact made his words into something totally different than what he was likely misspelling. I considered it a mark of intelligence on my part to decipher what he was trying to say without pointing out the errors by asking him to clarify. I decided I was quite smart at figuring out his jibberish, haha!

Looks like a lot of what I would use too
