Best album ever? For me it's Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos. What's yours?
Little Earthquakes is definitely my favorite Tori album, and I have (I think) all of them.
My favorite varies with my musical moods. When I am feeling classical, it might be Rachmanninov's Variations on a theme of Paganini, don't ask me which specific performer. Classic rock, maybe Fleetwood Mac: Rumours. Or Journey: Escape. Or Led Zeppelin II. Funky Pop, Train: California 37. Dance, Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman. Old Alternative, maybe R.E.M.: Automatic For The People. Soul, anything by Anita Baker. Straight-up pop: Kelly Clarkson: Piece By Piece.

Best Album... Oh, Man... I can't even remember the last time I had a "Best Album"...
I love Little Earthquakes tho, that is a good one. For me, that brings other albums to mind that influenced me during that era.
Bjork - Post ..was a good one.
Portishead - Dummy.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seed - Let Love In.
Tom Waits - Rain Dogs. (among many great albums from this guy)
Peter Gabriel - Passion (Last Temptation of Christ soundtrack... not the newer Gibson Movie.)
They Might Be Giants - Flood (My early teens favorite, for clever sillyness.)
Laurie Anderson - Big Science (Nostaligia from childhood. My dad is strange.)
More recently I can't recall "albums" sticking out in my mind. The last album I remember listening to repeatedly is apparently 13 years old now:
Shpongle - Nothing is Lost (Pretty great, if you like this kinda thing)
