Someone needs to start private atheist schools. Our children are just as important to protect as any others.

If half the millions of Atheists who gave money to demonRATs BidenS crime families gave instead to the DAWKINS FOUNDATION they could pay for annual Atheist schools not just CAMPquest tuition one week in summers around the country....BidenS crime families are increasing billion$ to religiou$ schools religious HOSPITAL$ religiou$ charitie$ MORE THAN TrumpOLINI more than ObushaObombney more than Clinton who started the FBI faith based initiative offering money to churches who never asked for it

Don't do this as building a bubble. Just do it as daycare because we have many daycare centers all over and so many of them are religious. I would not start a daycare and be "against god" in any way except that it would be made plain that we do not talk about gods. We have no invisible friends. I'm talking "daycare" for young children because how would you have a private atheist school? What would there be in a daily curriculum that you should teach?

We homeschool but I would love to send my kids to a private, secular humanist school. Imagine having no worries that teachers will try to insert their religion into the classroom or that their textbooks will be inaccurate or shamelessly white-washed. I dreamed a dream....

Our public school system is supposed to be secular, so I'd rather put efforts into assuring the publicly funded schools are well rounded and isn't associated with any particular belief or non-belief. But sure, if there are private schools, there should be more atheist or secular-minded maybe humanistic themed, but my wish is that there shouldn't be a need for it, as public schools should be filling that need.

I suppose that for parents who are stuck with a public school that is behind the times and still teaching backwards thinking, an atheistic private school might be a great idea.

Charter schools for decades have not been secular in many states the secular science push of 1958 - 1981 ended with ReaGUN turning the space shuttle into a military program against Atheist Soviets....local schools since 1776 have rarely employed an Atheist scientist teacher but did hire the preacher wives

Start a atheist home school company.

Teach them dinosaurs were real and seven headed red dragons are not.

Mainly teach them how to think for themselves and let them feel for themselves

word
starting @ "atheist" would be just as bad as "fundamental" i think, both coming from a gnostic perspective, "i know what you should be believing better than you do"

Great idea, but it’s up to Atheists to make it happen.

Good idea. As an early childhood educator I provide a secular education every day. My whole preschool is full of religious families.

HeadStart on paper is secular but most are operated in religious buildings Monday-Friday

@Larry68Feminist , If the faith based early childhood educators are using their religious building to teach "ONLY" the Head Start curriculum and education standards, I don't see a problem. BUT unfortunately as soon as the religious scammers have the opportunity they will try to force their religious beliefs. They are using federal funds and it is Illegal Proselytize in Head Start Programs.

@Cecilia2018 pilgrims xmas easter bunnies are part of HEAD START falsely labeled secular curriculum...ask any Jewish parent looking at drawings brought home proudly with cotton balls glued to bunny tails baby geebush in his manger next to donkeys....USA is awash in religious lies and Atheists should fight back protecting newborn boys from religious torture sexually and girls kept stupid where babies come frim

That’s what Christians call public schools.

All state run schools should be secular schools by default.

4

You can protect them and then they can spread some sense and science to their friends in ordinary schools. Mix 'em up is my motto.

Never work in bible belt

That must be a real nightmare........Especially with those anti-union “Right to work” laws in those states. Makes me glad I’m here in New York, a strong union state.

@bobwjrPlease tighten your belt! Ready for take-off.
