There's a radical difference between "Liberal" Christians and "Conservative" Christians.
Liberal Christians emphasize empathy, forgiveness, and give little thought to the "Law & Order" psychology of Conservative Christians. Their driving thought seems to be how I treat people is how I treat God.
Conservative Christians bind themselves to the law they claim to be free from and give us things like signs that say "God hates fags" at the funerals of veterans who weren't even gay.
Both ignore huge segments of Christian lore to pick and choose the things they believe.
While I certainly feel safer around the liberals than the conservative Christians it's still a religion dedicated to maintaining slave mentality in otherwise equal beings.
My restraint mirrors their restraint, and Liberal Christians seem to be pretty restrained with far less wholesale ignorance, for example most Liberal Christians accept evolution and I have yet to meet one that believes in a young universe.
Oh what a ding dang darn shame!! This is actually a very good thing, and I see the trend as continuing. Religion is outdated and just dang dumb. Yeah, it gives people comfort, but I'd rather deal with the truth than a comforting lie. Besides, when you look at what Conservative "Christians" are doing it is kinda sickening, and I want no part of that delusion.

Given that conservative Christians are nothing but a bunch of certifiable lunatics, does this mean that Americans are finally overcoming the indoctrination their elders and inferiors?
