"Back in 2015, Steve McConkey, the president of the Christian sports ministry 4 WINDS, was whining about the “Atheist Gestapo” that was putting a stop to coach-led prayers in public schools.

His new complaint, just ahead of Monday’s Boston Marathon, is that transgender people are allowed to complete in the race in their appropriate gender categories. And that’s an affront to God!"

“The Bible says being transgender is sinful. Whenever, you mess with God’s creation, there are problems. Pseudo scientists deny the truth they learned while at universities. They are trying to rewrite the DNA code given to each athlete.”

God was perfect and unable to make anything that was not perfect therefore anyone in the race is a perfect creation of god and should be treated as such!

Let him whine. He doesn’t get it. And getting what transgender is about isn’t (I believe) something you can teach someone. We just have to be active to do what we can so they don’t unduly influence policy and deny people’s rights and safety.

The more he talks, the more money comes in. That's why.

If Steve believes this somebody should tell him to stop all and go into preaching. He should also be reminded that there is no prayer in public schools. If you want prayer go to a private school.

Anyone can pray in any school, public or private. They can not be led by any personnel of a public school. Any student can pray all he/she wants anytime as long as it does not interrupt classes or school functions.

@jlynn37 I recall times in my years of public school that we were encouraged to have one minute of silent prayer if we wanted to. After that it was school business as usual. I can easily imagine school prayer in which Bobby is asking god to not allow Tommy to do well on the school test today coz he doesn't like Tommy. What other nonsense would they pray about?

@DenoPenno That would be for the individual to decide.
