GDI! My bridge that was my upper front six teeth just broke lose after 27 years.
Like all psychics I didn’t see it coming.
Time to investigate implants so I don’t look like a meth addict after the age of mask passes.

I have 8 dental implants and I plan to get more.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately it probably won't be that easy to get an implant if you've had a bridge for a long time. I had the same issue when a bridge I'd had for 20 years broke and was told that after a number of years with the bridge the jaw at that point thins and won't support an implant. I had xrays taken which confirmed this had happened. There is a way of fixing that with an op to build up the jaw ready for the implant but then you have to wait several months. I gave up and went for another bridge. I figured another 20 hears with that would see me out.

Dental bridges are a bridge to nowhere. I replaced mine three times.

At age 22, I bit into a rock in a sandwich that cracked a molar. I mailed the masticated piece of bread with the rock to Orowheat with a letter and receipt. Orowheat paid for my crown.

Pregnant at 35, the crown cracked below the gum line. "Glue it on," I said, not wanting to expose my baby to drugs.

Four years ago, I got a tooth implant. Get a Waterpik.

"Direct the stream of water sideways around your tooth implant, not down," an oral surgeon said. "Directing the water stream down forces food particles deep under the implant."

Mine lasted a long time, but one of the teeth that anchored the bridge died and slowly decayed in two since there was absolutely no way to get more then a piece of dental floss around it to clean what, a dental floss width of cleaning, the break itself seems to be just under the gum line where cleaning is impossible. Then again three teeth were used as anchors, and this one was the middle one.
Just inaccessible.
I now refer to it as my troll tooth, since when it was alive it lived under a bridge.

Oh good luck. That’s a pain.

Implants are great but terribly expensive. I looked into implants for my sister since all her teeth need to come out after years of too much sugar and not taking care of her teeth. It was going to be a little over 9,000 dollars for my sister. Since you only have 6 teeth it will be more reasonable, but still expensive!

Join me, I seem to be coming apart.

@Willow_Wisp I’ve been slowly falling apart for years now. 🤣

I'm sorry that happened. I hope you can work something out.

Honestly it’s a mixed blessing, the down side is the tooth nubs that anchored the bridge are like little pieces of abrasive pumice that will cause irritation to my tongue which just can’t leave it the fuck alone.
The good part is I’m having a gumgasm, I mean my gums are loving it.

@Kbdank71 My vanity says I look like a sexy vampire if I don’t let my gums show, but I’m sure I look like a meth head. Then even if I wear a mask I have a toothless lisp now with a slight whistle with each “s” so I’m going to be real quiet here on out.
“say sister Susan could we sing that same song we sung last Sunday in Sunday school?”
Yep a whistle each “S” GDI !!!
