@Lorajay Mine was HIGHLY painful, although the severe pain only lasted a few moments.
Also, the guy on the gurney next to me went into cardiac arrest.

@Lorajay When my brother in law had his done, his bollocks swelled to the size of grapefruits and stayed that way for a month.
That was enough to put on the path to a life long love of condoms and an overwhelming gratitude that these little "rubber Jonnie" are all that is asked of us men for contraception, and not the horrors that are inserted, imbibed or surgically wangled (pun intended) in to women.

When my son was born a midwife visited us to talk about contraception, she had with her allsorts of literature and samples and warning pamphlets.
She asked my wife (2nd wife) had we even talked about this and I answered that yes we had and had decided that the safest option was condoms, for me.
She was speechless and excused herself as she had not brought any, nor had she been told that by a wife let alone a man in twenty years as a practicing district nurse.
She came back a day later and gave me a years supply with a big grin on her face, explaining they had plenty to spare and normally only gave them out free to prostitutes (of both sexes) because they were the only ones who asked for them..
