Anything you see, including the computer screen you are reading this article on, the chair you’re sitting on, the sounds in the background, all of it doesn’t exist – except as a result of an active process occurring in your mind.
The implications of this theory for what happens after death are profound, as explained below.
To better understand the theory, let’s put it another way:
Consciousness is creating an awareness of an “out there” outside of ourselves, when actually, the world we experience around us is actually created in our consciousness. There is no “out there”.
What you have just read is the first principle of Biocentrism: “What we perceive as reality is a process that involves our consciousness. An ‘external’ reality, if it existed, would—by definition—have to exist in space. But this is meaningless, because space and time are not absolute realities but rather tools of the human and animal mind.”
Doesn't sit with me. I believe there are two realities: the one in our individual minds and bodies, and the one in the world and our collective consciousness. What's essential is being aware of how these two interact -- that's where our power and connection exist.
I don’t believe it because for our realities to interact with each other the world is either real or we are all one persons dream.
Awesome!! I love this theory.. Kinda obvoius in it's simplicity, but not complexity or scope.. We are all just reflected lightforms and the Atom's we are made of are over 90% hollow on the whole aren't they .. Starts to get odd when you work that one out doesn't it
I love the Quantumn double slit experiment which again just backs up how little we really understand about the real mechanics of our own mortality and existence. Even how we percieve ourselves as objects in physical reality.

I find it mindblowing that the end result of this can be affected by observation alone.
I have come across this world is really an illusion before in buddhism. Sorry but I don`t buy it. That would mean that Hirosima, Nagasaki and the Holocaust were not real and they were. Plus it just stifles debate on anything from politics, religion or the price of fish. True that the computer and the floor or sofa existed in someones mind before it became real but the truth is definitely out there..
It's not literal !! Or meant to be..
You are reflected light in your own brains perception and the body you inhabit is made of atoms that are over 90% hollow .. that is chemical fact. Physics in action.
We perceive reflected light which makes our brain fill in objects as solid even though those objects vibrate on frequencies we cannot see. I want some wave goggles that allows me to see in frequency and waveforms lol .. like wave density lmfao ..
