And then there are those who likes illustrations!!!

entertaining thoughts.

I am almost convinced we are living in a brownhole. There are a lot of shitheads out there that help to prove this theory.

However, a mathematical model delivers these results because that's what models do and there isn't a way to verify that the model correctly describes any putative situation before the existence of known time and space.

@EarnestEccentric
It would be reasonable to take that approach. But when one uses math ass+hat=fartsniffer.

We don't know what existed before the big bang.

by definition (the moment of creation of time, space, and material existence ( matter and energy), nothing existed before. unless your buying in to multiverses

@holdenc98 Ummm how do you come to the conclusion that nothing existed before the Big Bang?

So far as I know, the first law of thermodynamics says energy can NEVER be created nor destroyed, but it readily changes form.

Assuming this law holds universally, which it has so far, then all the energy in all the universe has always existed, albeit in different forms.

So I can understand it when someone says "The universe as we now know it began at the big bang." .... but How do you come to the conclusion that there was nothing before the big bang??

I have seen no supporting evidence for this conclusion. Which is also why the big bounce has also never gone away as a theory. Other theories only seem to provide an avenue for interactions from outside our universe, which, so far, seems unnecessary to me.

Please present your evidence or a link to it so that I can consider it.

Aptly categorized under Silly, Random and Fun...

seems like that would preclude our "all of the matter that makes up the human race would fit in a teaspoon" observations, since all of the vacuum is squeezed out in a black hole...
