The guy was nuts .Viewed a documentary on him a while back. He blew his fortune .His life was a disaster after he sold his company. How a guy so brilliant with technology could at the same time have no common sense is beyond comprehension.

Could be reverse psychology, meaning he wants people to believe that he would never commit suicide as such would tarnish his image, so he could commit suicide and no one would believe he actually did so.
