@Elizabeth555 , I did, too; Michael was 3 months old......kinda changed my life ; I was fortunate enough to have another boy, who probably saved my life!

Capt Jonathan R. Davis. On December 19, 1854, he and two friends were walking in Rocky Canyon of the North Fork of the American River, near Sacramento, California, and they were attacked by a gang of outlaws, numbering about 20. Yes, about 20! These outlaws had killed four people the day before. One of Davis' companions was killed immediately and the other was wounded too badly to fight. Captain Davis pulled out his pistols and killed seven of the bandits. Out of bullets, Captain Davis drew his Bowie knife and killed four more of his attackers. The surviving bandits fled for their lives. He was either "most charmed" or he was astonishly bad-ass.

I've escaped the grim reaper more than eight times in my long life. I have not been a daredevil or stuntman but near death experiences don't phase me any longer.

Forest Gump (the movie, not the book version).... or are we nto allowed to use fictional charcters?

If you need somoene real, then Tom Hanks. Even after making "Joe Versus the Volcano" he still had a career. However, liek with Tom Hanks, I think a chrmed life has a lto to do with beign likeable, wanting to do the best you can and beign a littel humble about yoru success.

Lord Byron! Even with a club foot he was adored by a multitude of women (and men). Traveled the world, was an artist and adventurer and fathered the genius which is Ada Lovelace!

OMG! After writing the above I just recieved my new British Passport and was delighted to find one of the pages has a picture of Ada Lovelace on it!!!! Spooky!

Anyone that realises that they have, it's all in your own perception after all.

Despite having been through a lot of hard times and a lot of poverty, I would say my son. He has bounced back from everyting, has always been in perfect health, not a genius, well not a high level genious. Has been to every continent except Anartica and South America, both in his plans. Has been to so many countries, is 31 and better than semi retired, self taught in guitar, surfing, martial arts swordsman and the ladies just love him. I am glad his life is so good, I wish my daughter was as fortunate, though at least she seems very happy. I can't imagine what it must be like to have things in place like he does at his age. I know there is a trick to it, but I can't quite grasp all of it, I lack his self confidence.

I guess it depens on how we define charm. I can think of several good examples: Bob Hope lived a long productive and funny life. Bertrand Really lived also a long and very productive life. Christopher Hitchens seemed to have been pissed his whole life cut short and yet he lived a very intense and passionate life. Too many to mention here, hope you get the idea

defining 'Charmed' is not really possible - not with a global, all around meaning. That being said, all in all, I think I've been pretty damned lucky.

On TV: Piper

we all should be feeling charmed because of Stanislav Petrov.

Trump, he hasn't ever had to listen to anyone or obay any laws. From day one ass kissers surrounded him. He is pethitic but rich, Thanks to his papa. Stupidity don't matter when your that rich, people will still call you a genius to your face anyway.

Eric Burdon and Keith Richards should have died long ago from all the drugs they've done.
