Stress Eating sucks! Just thought I would let you know. In case there are any of you out there that do it. I've been doing well trying to lose weight but the slightest amount of depression or stress makes me want to stuff my face. So I'm sitting here trying not to eat a whole bag of Honey mustard and onion pretzel bites and thinking if I post this I will have to use some self control

I'm the same way. I now try to go for celery sticks instead of an entire bag of potato chips and a gallon of ice cream. The bad part about this ,it deepens my hatred for those people that say "when I'm depressed I lose weight because I can't eat a thing! "

a hobby that involves using your hands helps...I've never had eating issues, but I imagine they are like focus issues....also, if you do core or stomach workouts...like 25 crunches when you want to eat, it makes eating icky...I believe the technical term is 'icky'...

@idlopalev Nice!! Nothing wrong with chubby! I was just thinking about the stress part of the eating...for me, stress makes me not able to sleep...that's when I exercise and get back to my art work...insomnia is my issue...which is why I just gave up sleep for the night and went back to work and did a small work out...haha

Add some peanut butter to those bites. Or cheese.

I've found a bit of protein can fix that satiation thing that's gotten triggered. At least faster than carbs alone do. (Been there done that).
