I wouldn't, but only because I hate having my photo taken and I like my privacy - I haven't ever posted a photo of myself on the internet.

But in real life I haven't worn make up for years. I don't even own any.

I don't think there's anything wrong with anyone wearing makeup if that's what they enjoy. It would be a boring world if were all the same. But I do think it's sad when women feel that they need makeup to go out and don't have the confidence to go out without it.

Filters? What are these filters that you speak of? I am lucky when my hair is not spreading out all over the place. And I am not here for dating.

I already have with my profile picture. I don't care to spend the time and money that a lot of women spend on makeup and hair. Life is toooooo short. However having said that, I can see how much fun it might be to indulge in it. What saddens me though is that the make up and hair stuff is now an expectation that women are forced to adhere to in order to be acceptable.

It's tougher to find any picture of me WITH make up on or anything done to make my hair do other than what it naturally wants to.

Well considering all I usually wear for makeup is mascara and a little blush, I would have no problem. Also, all I really do to my hair is straighten my bangs.

Ive been tempted to start a "selfie of yourself right now" thread one of these early mornings when I'm on here avoiding getting up and ready for the day?

I don't do filters. Only with make up, my hair stays a mess anyways.

This was a wonderful idea. I adore the natural look.

All of my pics are me without makeup. I wear makeup so infreqently that I have to have a new tube of mascara each time because it dries up.

My opinion of the why and should they use those things would likely offend so I will leave it at "I feel no obligation to use those things"

No filter, no makeup and I didn't even brush my hair. I'm not sure how many dates I'm going to get now but I'm putting it out there because it's who I am. On a side note this picture was taken on April 19th of 2018 right after I posted the question.
