I'm spontaneous and being a disabled artist who lives on there own I do what I want when I want if I can. I don't drink or smoke or take drugs anymore so the weekends are no different really.

Seems I let the full-time workers do their stuff, as I stay out of their way… But recreation’s turned into hiking Blue Ridge trails, scouting Appalachia, volunteering for local projects, political activism.. And since I’m out of the woods of Oregon and new to ‘unlimited high-speed internet service’ - following youtube all over the place ~

I like to pick the obscure stuff that nobody remembers. The current bar I do karaoke at is in a small town north of Denver, so needless to say there's a lot of Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood and Merle Haggard going down. Imagine the blank stares when I throw down Marillion's, Kayleigh or something other than Werewolves Of London by Warren Zevon.
I'm taking five classes. They're almost over. I have three papers to write and study for two final exams. I just finished one class tonight. Normally, I clean, shop, laundry, and go to yoga, tai chi, or a nice walk/hike. I would like to do more like archery, canoe, swim, do more art. Volunteer. I'll get there, slowly but surely.

I'm taking sociology classes. I can't stop taking classes. However, after this spate of classes, I'm only going to take art classes. Archery is fun and zen-like for me. We have an archery range not too far away from where I live where everything is free. Lessons, bow and arrows, targets. It rocks. An archer left a large endowment to keep the sport alive in this part of town.
There's always MOOC (Massive Online Open Classes). They are usually free and all the major universities have them. There's always something new to learn. Yeah, I love the free archery classes. They're a lot of fun. As a society, we should have more activities that don't cost anything or very much. We need to get away from the computer and the TV.
In India we only got one weekend but as I am working I usually don't do anything special on it
