Like you, I've been stuck on level 9.3 for over a year.

@LiterateHiker Funny, you and I started at the same time. I spent so much time on this site I gained 1 1/2 inches on my waist. Luckily, things have settled down and now the gym is open so I am down 1". I have added a lot and, when my daughter was here (she is christian) I showed her a bit of the site (she is very open minded) and even I was surprised at all the postings, comments, reactions and such. However, popularity seems to also come in play and you get far more comments and reactions than I (or is it me). Still, it's not about points but knowledge and learning. In that area I feel I have gotten well past level 10 (for myself).

@LiterateHiker Just noticed a full page article (with pictures) in Sunday's Seattle Times. It was titled "These 7 Western Washington Trails Made me Fall in love with Hiking." Before and after I met my late partner I was a big time hiker and probably hiked most of those trails.

I don’t know how they work out the rankings here on this site…not that it matters, I’m just curious. Bill went down quite a bit from #1 after a while , when he was absent and then when he returned he was moved up again. Kaitlyn stayed at the top until quite recently until Bob moved into #1. It’s all a bit of a mystery.

No…nothing no advice from Admin…I was just watching the numbers myself this afternoon, because I knew I was getting close yesterday. I really don’t think Admin is on board at all, we’re just ticking over automatically.

I didn’t expect anything…I’m just curious to know how they work out the top contributor rankings…it’s evidently not just about the points which I already knew, but if someone hasn’t logged onto the site for 9 months I’m at a loss to know how they consider her to still be ranked at #2…until very recently she was #1. I actually think Admin has also gone AWOL and the ship is on automatic pilot…perhaps heading for the rocks for all we know!
