Craig was closest to the character. Brosnan got screwed by them trying to PC Bond...Dalton got one of the worst scripts I had ever seen (okay, that isn't true...but it was bad...more a made for tv type bond) Sean Connery was okay, but as dumb as a box of bricks, Roger Moore had a great dry wit and was smooth...all things Ian Fleming's Bond was not....but I liked him the best...Lazenby...don't even remember...and I am not much of a Bond enthusiast.
Roger Moore! Next would be Sean Connery. Dalton and Brosnan were hacks at best in my opinion ( think about Tom Cruise trying to play 007). Was unaware of Lazenby.
In order -- absolute favorite first:
Connery
Brosnan
Moore
Craig
Lazenby and Dalton don't make the list.
Connery if you want a cheeky characterful Bond, Craig if you want someone to seem like a genuine, slightly bitter Naval officer with special ops skills.
RM was the first Bond I ever watched in the Cinema, so I have a soft spot, though he did make probably the worst Bond film ever.
But as a life long reader and fan of the books Dalton was probably the most faithful portayal.
I grew up with Daniel Craig so...
As bond not...like...actually grew up with him lol
Connery then Craig. I like how they rely on their charisma and skills more than gadget-heavy Bonds.
Titebond III wood glue
I was gonna go with Vanguard mutual bond...but I like your style!
