Popular public figures should refrain from generating dubious claims. There are many impressionable people out there.

Rogan — a podcast host who dismissed Covid-19 vaccines earlier this year — thanked “modern medicine” for his apparent recovery from the coronavirus.

Why would anyone choose to use drugs for animals for cure instead of drugs for humans anyway...? 🙄

Sadly he survived, then? This virus isn't killing enough of them. Certainly not fast enough.

You meanie!

Wow, Seth Rogan looks different than I remember.

Already two comments on here from people who don’t appeared to have done any research on ivermectin!?👀

Already two comments on here from people who don't appear to have done any research on vaccines!?

(PS- "Research" means reading peer-reviewed science, not the stuff thrown out by the pound by "alternative medicine" hawkers.)

Here is another one. It does not cure Covid no matter how many Charlatans trying to make a buck say it does. I have looked into this extensively. Looking at everything I can get my hands on about this drug and it’s supposed cure for Covid. What I found out was that the people recommending it are usually not doctors, or are doctors with an agenda to make money and don’t care about the people they hurt telling them to ingest this drug.

@Paul4747 You have know idea how much I read, or from where. Shove your ignorant comment up your ass and go do some RESEARCH!!!😊

@Paul4747 Start with this one since you can’t do any leg work on your own....

@Paul4747, @Redheadedgammy Please share references for your extensive research or shut up. Please and thank you!🙃

I live in England, and I'm inclined to rely on the information that is provided by NICE, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. Their advice on the use of ivermectin is with tight restrictions:

Indications and dose

Papulopustular rosacea

To the skin

For Adult
Apply daily for up to 4 months, the treatment course may be repeated; discontinue if no improvement after 3 months.

Chronic Strongyloides infection

By mouth

For Adult
200 micrograms/kg daily for 2 days.

Onchocerciasis
By mouth

For Adult
150 micrograms/kg for 1 dose, retreatment at intervals of 6 to 12 months, depending on symptoms, must be given until the adult worms die out.

NICE does not recognise ivermectin as a medication for treating COVID-19.

@Ryo1 Right, but will that change in the future? 🤨

@Ryo1 For the record, I’m vaccinated with Moderna.

@Buck Good. 🙂 Some people behave like they're invincible because they've been vaccinated, which is wrong, of course. Because you're vaccinated doesn't mean that you will never catch COVID-19, but at least in England, the impact of COVID vaccination on hospitalisation and mortality has been good; fewer people end up in ICU and fewer people die of the disease. Prevention is better than cure.

@Buck I favor you taking it. Take a very large dose of it to be sure. Please proceed.

@Buck Who knows? But at least in England, doctors have got the hang of how to treat COVID-19. So, they will probably not need ivermectin in the future.

@rainmanjr I’m fully vaccinated already, so go fuck yourself you ignorant ass....😎

@Buck Incidentally, this is the current position of the UK with regard to ivermectin.
[gov.uk]

Steady now @rainmanjr. Lol

@Ryo1 I'm not in charge of what a being chooses to do, not do, think about doing, so if advice is something to disregard (when not of kindful nature to our own interest) then mine should be worthless, too.

I used to find his podcasts to be interesting and off the wall entertaining but since his move to Texas he has really become unhinged on many topics. That he is wildly popular does not make him an authority on Covid 19 or its treatment but the masses will follow blindly. Pass out the koolaid made with bleach.

Joe Rogan took Ivermectin, and many other things, and recovered very quickly.

BDair Level 8 Sep 2, 2021

Not from ivermectin he didn’t. Pretty sure it will be discovered that he was given the regeneron therapy.

@Redheadedgammy You’re real good at assuming things, reading not so much.....

Ivermectin is being used in prophylaxis and treatment for Covid 19 in nearly one quarter of the world's population. In many countries it is an over the counter medication and has been used as freely and safely as aspirin. Mexico and India had remarkable results after distributing it to much of their population. Your statement implies that Ivervectim is a drug used “solely” to treat animals for worms. Fact is, it is also used for treatments in humans for river blindness and intestinal worms and other ailments. I’m in no way advocating the use of Ivervectim for covid, but the amount of doctors prescribing it in Africa, India, SE Asia, and South America, certainly makes one wonder if there isn’t something to it?
If you’re going to respond with reactionary hate and haven’t done any RESEARCH regarding the matter, please don’t bother spewing any of your ignorant hate towards me. Have a great day! 🙃

Those are parasites not viruses. Stop listening to idiots

No reputable doctor has advised people to take this drug for Covid. The keyword here is reputable. People who want to listen to Nutjobs and charlatans just trying to make a buck are free to do so unfortunately.

@Redheadedgammy If they die as a result of listening to nut jobs, GOOD!! and I hope millions more of them also.

@Redheadedgammy You are completely misinformed. Ivermectin is currently being used all around the world to successfully prevent and treat Covid. There are over 100 published studies, that overall show a huge benefit in its use.

Japan has suspended the Moderna vaccine due to contamination, and suggesting Ivermectin. "The chairman of the Tokyo Medical Association, Haruo Ozaki, held a press conference this week announcing that the anti-parasite medicine Ivermectin seems to be effective at stopping COVID-19 and publicly recommending that all doctors in Japan immediately begin using Ivermectin to treat COVID." [dreddymd.com]

@redhog, @Redheadedgammy There are in fact many reputable doctors that swear it works well for treating it. Just not any you are aware of because you haven’t done any research regarding the matter, fact! 🙃

"Twenty countries are using Ivermectin to treat Covid-19. They include Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Nigeria, and Egypt. In South Africa doctors are allowed to prescribe Ivermectin, but it is not being rolled out everywhere and in hospitals and clinics." [biznews.com]

@Redheadedgammy I suggest you poke your head out of your bubble and read through some the research literature. "The strength of evidence for ivermectin has this week been supercharged by publication of a gold standard review of 24 randomised trials conducted in 15 countries among more than 3400 people worldwide proving infections fall and deaths are dramatically reduced when ivermectin is administered. Published in the American Journal of Therapeutics the most rigorous statistical standards were applied by world-leading researchers biostatistician Mr Andrew Bryant and medical doctor and researcher Dr. Tess Lawrie." @Buck youre ignorance is truly staggering

@redhog Says the asshole that has yet to offer one iota of anything to this post. Just stfu and crawl back under your rock.....😉

Except the UK. Ivermectin is currently not approved in the UK for the prophylaxis or treatment of COVID-19.

@Buck cool story spreadneck

The huge problem with this and all 'medicines' used to 'cure' the disease is they are all reactionary. We humans are great procrastinators and too often wait until the last second often when it is too late. With a vaccine one doesn't have to wait until they already have the disease and have probably spread it to others. Another human trend, only about ME!

The 'vaccines' do not prevent infection with a virus, and do not prevent the vaccinated from infecting other people.

@BDair I’m vaccinated with Moderna, and the number of people getting infected that are fully vaccinated is disconcerting to me....😶

@BDair Ummmmmm..... Quick question.... How many people who have been vaccinated against polio do you personally know of that have been infected with the polio virus?

Vaccines do prevent infection. The immune system kills the invading virus, thus, no infection.

That is a non sequitur. The polio vaccine and the 'vaccines' administered for Covid are completely different technologies. There are well proven prevention and treatment protocols for Covid that render vaccinating against it with an experimental genomic biologic uneccessary.

@BDair Yes and no. They mostly do prevent infection from taking over ones body. They also lessen the rate of contamination. Remember all the previous viruses that have been eliminated.,

@BDair No it is fact. Too many think they know more than the scientists that have worked on dealing with viruses for decades. This vaccine did not happen overnight but was being researched for a long time. It is a flu variant.

@Paul4747 The Covid vaccines do not prevent infection with a corona virus. That was never an endpoint of their trials, and their makers never made that claim. Thousands of fully vaccinated people are still being infected with Covid, and still being hospitalized and dieing. At best, the CV vaxs were said to to reduce hospitalization and death.

@BDair This is nitpicking. They do not prevent infection but they do strengthen the body to fight off those infections. Many viral diseases, smallpox and polio just to name 2, have basically been eradicated from the planet due to vaccines. Also, until the delta variant came along most were fully protected from the disease. The hospitalization rate is low and the death rate from vaccinated people is minuscule especially compared to those unvaccinated. This 'slippery slope is one reason we are in this mess.

Some of them are not only just impressionable, they are also weak minded, probably low on intelligence and education.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for this subhumanity. It would be for the good of everything if they all just died off or just blindly followed each other off a cliff.
