A giant space rock demolished an ancient Middle Eastern city and everyone in it. The blast was around 1,000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima atomic bomb – possibly inspiring the Biblical story of Sodom.

Never mind the Bible, the scary thing is, it almost certainly won’t be the last time a human city meets this fate. 😱😱😱

A giant space rock. I'm so glad they found this out. Anyone notice that the "Cqonversation" was spelled with a Q in it?

I think it more accurate to say a rock of at least the same size will land in an ocean.
