Sad that he was killed, but what on earth was he thinking? Did he think that he could educate Sentinelese islanders and bring Western civilisation to them through Christianity? Arrogant, condescending, ignorant, mad or what?

In 2018, a 26-year-old American missionary named John Allen Chau ignored repeated warnings and Indian law in his attempt to convert the uncontacted Sentinelese islanders to Christianity. Aware that the Sentinelese had always killed anyone who dared get too close, Chau knew that he might die but bribed local fishermen to get him to the island anyway.
Once close, he canoed toward shore with a waterproof Bible, which may have saved his life when it stopped an arrow destined for his heart. Forging ahead anyway, he finally made contact before he was quickly killed and his body was dragged away, never to be seen again. The Indian government eventually gave up on trying to retrieve the body because doing so would be too dangerous.

Everyone who supported him, everyone who fucked his brain into such stupidity, everyone who helped him in any way, should be dropped into the middle of the sahara, naked, with one bottle of water, each.

If he was killed by the natives how did we get the story?

The local fishermen who took the man close to the island probably witnessed what happened to him. That's my interpretation of the original post.

As I remember at the time, the fishermen owned up to the coast guard.

A psychotic cultist arranges his own martyrdom? Darwin strikes again. Waste no tears on such arrogance.

What's for dinner? christian

What's the best way to cook a Christian? Burning at the stake blackens the skin but leaves the meat rather undercooked. Friars can be fried, but you need to remember to take the God collar off first. Nuns are none too tasty. Popes tend be old and stringy. Jesuits need to be hung by the feet for a week with their throats cut to let the blood drain out for best results.

Works for both kinds of white meat, apparently the French are the sweetest and the Dutch are stringy but the English are tough and salty.

@SnowyOwl Poultry is best dressed prior to cooking. Long pig is best undressed prior to cooking. Long pig with macromastia can result in a lot of fat in the drip tray.

God was testing him, like Job, and he apparently failed as not one Christian was created for his life. That God is a character, puts it all on us, and laughs when we see Thou because none of this was of the slightest importance. None of it.
