No thanks

Nope, your not the only one. I did when I was a teenager, but that was mostly from peer pressure. I don't have anything against people wanting to smoke pot, I just don't care for it myself. It gives me the munchies and makes me not want to do anything.

Nope. I smoked it in college a long time ago but hadn’t had any in years until recently. It’s much stronger and, I found, unpleasant. It made me so nauseous and dizzy I couldn’t stand up for 30 minutes. That was one toke. Not for me.

I highly doubt it....

I think many scientific Atheists stop scrambling their dendrites and instead feed their neurons ginkgo and raspberry. ...rope is fine for a summer @ Woodstock 49 years ago but bad for any career piss tested .....proven bad upon Rhesus monkeys taught to smoke double blind tobacco & reefer. ...both got lung cancer but stoner primates lose memory and concentration

I neither drink nor use drugs...i have never cared for the taste of beer or hard liquor, wine gives me migraines. Former hubby was into pot big-time, I never saw the appeal, have always fought weight problems, do not need the munchies, lol!
Been an atheist since my teens.

Prefer red dry wine or good rye?

Nope, i don't. I used to five years ago but quit.

no, but only one of a few. I never have, but almost every circle I am in seems to be more smokers than not.

And isn't it fascinating how you are regarded as a greater aberration than a non believer is by God botherers?
I had a friend who came out under the big brother scheme and was sent for two years slavery on a farm in the Hunter Valley. He claimed that much of the banks of the river had acres growing wild.

@FrayedBear I have been fighting bushfires and rested in the shade of massive dope plants, local cops were fighting fires and standing under the same shade along with us. You are right re the aberration, I don't drink so don't mix after work, and don't smoke to don't get to mix at breaks at work. Either that or my body odour.

@Rugglesby Bugger me Blu and there I had an inkling that you were an escaped New Zealander and you're turning out to be an unwashed Pom emulator! ?????? Standing in the shade with you... probably their plantations!

I work at a police department so, it would be difficult if I did. I've actually only tried it twice in my life and that was in my thirties. I didn't really get anything out of it, so, never go into it. I'm fine with it being legal though. Within reason.

So I'm the same way and holy hell were in the same neck of the woods!

LOL. You're right up the mountain! And btw, there is no such thing as hell, let alone a holy one! lol

4

Never even tried the stuff! I figure I'm probably allergic to it, because when my neighbors used to do it, I would get a contact headache, not a contact high.

I smoke pot - but I did so long before I became a non-theist - in no way did it impact my decision to cast aside religion and I'm not implying that you are suggesting that. Having written that, I know a ton of non-theists that don't smoke or drink. Their worse vice is perhaps exercising to excess - a couple are going to have knee or hip surgeries - aside from that - most of the non-theists I know are pretty tame or lame depending on your perspective 🙂.

No, I don't smoke, other than having tried it a time or two way back when. Have nothing against it (though I believe it is not healthy for people who are at ages where their brains are developing).

And I don't think use or nonuse of drugs has anything to do with belief systems.

No, I don’t do it. It makes me feel very unwell. However others can smoke it if they choose. I am pro legalization.

Why did you ask this? Trump has proven that you don't need drugs to be a complete idiotic asshole!

3

I don't smoke pot. I don't like the effect it has of overpowering and dom8nating me.

3

No, you're not.

3

I don't smoke pot... I just had guests here who did... OMG the whole house stinks LOL I sent them outside.

3

I'm not sure how one has anything to do with the other, but I do smoke pot. Does it seem commonplace?

3

Never tried pot or any drugs and I don’t drink, tried it a few time just not my thing.

3

Plenty of us non-smokers here. I have personally never seen the point. I don't get drunk either. I like my mind the way it is - I don't want to get out of it.

3

Wow, I'm relieved. I thought everyone was talking about me. I considered SAYING I did smoke dope. I want to be cool.

I’m with ya

I don't because I can be randomly drug tested at work at any time. Have a mortgage, need a job. I do own stock in medical marijuana companies.

Remember my time in the military and reason for quiting... and you know what? You are Right and the time will come that you will say.... No, now I can but I don't need it, No! Priorities.

@GipsyOfNewSpain actually, I'm looking forward to when I'm having a migraine come on & I can take a few hits to subdue the crippling pain & nausea & maintain some function as opposed to taking a script that causes me to be unconscious, then once "awake", leaves me a drooling, brain fogged mess, unable to function outside of my house for another 8 to 12 hours...if the headache has cleared. They can last anywhere from a coue of days to 2 to 3 eeeks at varying intensity.
Fortunately, though it has taken years, I have found a lot of my migraine triggers & avoid them like the plague. Not 100% yet but I may only have to deal with a migraine 2 or 3 times a year.

@SallyInStitches I hope the time will come that every time I say... I no longer smoke weed, I won't have to say I don't take any other drugs or any pill labelled by Big Pharma or the corner drug dealer or that I seldom taste alcohol anymore or get vaccinated of any kind or for any purpose. Can I just be Natural? ...as I came to this world 64 levels ago? "Been there, Done that! And no longer needed in my life as it stands at this moment" And I am sorry for your Migraine.
