Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It seemed to really start with a ton of posts that were blocked for no apparent reason, probably half of the memes were blocked in my feed, including those by mainstream news services. It is either a denial of service attack or FB's AI committed suicide.

It required me to come to agnostics.com and post.
@Lorajay oh hell ya... because if this sites goes down, then it's all over but the cryin.
Now it's at least 4 to 5 hours of outage. Apparently it's something their backup systems can't cope with. Could this be a really bad hack job? Did they finally get on Uncle Vladimir's last nerve? No worries. I'm going for a bike ride. I bet this will make the evening news.

It's been mentioned on MSNBC a few times. I listen to that on Internet radio while working.
@BufftonBeotch I stay pretty much isolated during the day. My only news from the outside world comes from checking into FB and Agnostic now and then. I figure if WW3 starts while I'm working, somebody will let me know.
This is not about FB being slow to load but it's bad behavior.

Mine looks normal at first glance, but upon closer inspection doesn’t seem to work right. Have you tried posting something?

On my computer I get nothing. On my phone I get stuff that was posted hours ago, but nothing new coming in.
@skado I’ve checked again…there seem to be some pictures which are blank, but it’s not down universally, I’ve just responded to a message and it seemed to operate normally.

I noticed the blank pictures here too. I tried to look at my “friends” list, and it shows me about the first dozen or so, then stops.
@skado definitely not working 100%. Somethings seem to, others don’t.
@Lauren I am having issues with other apps too. Seems the problem is on the Internet, not Facebook related.
@Barnie2years It's possible there are Internet problems in other geographic areas, but my Internet is good. The only problems I'm having here are with Facebook and it's entities: Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
@Lauren saw on the news it was a Facebook and subsidiaries internationally that were affected.
@Barnie2years it seems to be ok again I think. It was on the news here earlier too.
@Marionville said they are supposed to have everything back up.
