Texas Residents! Tuesday Nov. 2 is Election Day in an off off year. There are several state Amendments to the State Constitution that we may be interested in. Prop 3 is an addition which "Amends the Texas Constitution to prohibit the state or any political subdivision from enacting a law, rule, order, or proclamation that limits religious services or organizations."

Churches were super spreaders of the COVID virus during this pandemic and a number of church officials were amoung the most vocal COVID deniers and anti-vaxxers who has prolonged this pandemic while American die. In South Korea, over half the cases of COVID occurred amoung one religious organization which refused to suspend any of their services and discouraged all protective measures such as masks, social distancing, etc. Such irresponsible behavior should not be allowed for the good of the whole public.

The best way to defeat a system (basically a set of rules) is to follow it slavishly.
Therefore, every mosque should be encouraged to turn up their loudspeakers and to call the faithful to prayer 5 times a day - just for starters!

Being or claiming to be religious does not give you a free pass.

Its passage will give Texas churches a free pass. The State Health Department is socialism.
