Take a few moments to few this fascinating collection of historical photographs. First you'll see 3D and CGI representations of how historical figures like King Tut and Jesus Christ may have actually looked... and then photos of everything from the eruption of Mt. St. Helens to a 200 year old tortoise living on an island in the South Atlantic Ocean. It's quite a collection!
Excellent! Thank you for posting, @TheoryNumber3.
Glad you enjoyed it. I sure did
Can't be historical if they show a fictional character like Jesus.
He was probably just an ordinary joe.
@TheoryNumber3 who? What part of fictional don't you understand?
@Mofo1953 Hey! no reason to get your panties in a wad. I'm a total nonbeliever. I'm just considering the possibility that he might have a been a real person falsely ascribed with ridiculous nonexistent super powers.
@TheoryNumber3 first, I do not wear panties so please do not project; second, the question I posted still stands unanswered. Your assumption is not very bright to say the least, as of course there were many jews named yeshua or joshua, which became jesus in romantic languages, much like there are many bills and teds in english speaking countries, just not the fictional Bill and Ted from the movies, so what does that have to do with the bible's fictional characters and their made up powers?
@Mofo1953 Nothing. You're right. You're always right. Happy Thanksgiving. If you can't comment on posts without being insulting, please pass mine by.
@TheoryNumber3 where did my posts insult anyone? Don't tell me that the question "what part of fictional do you not understand" was insulting to you. Wow, talk about very thin skin. But when you place a dude in panties, that ain't insulting,right? At least I am not a hypocrite.
Thanks for the word eyewig! Phew I started to have few drops of perspiration at the excitement of viewing a few photos but got sidetracked on the word worm!
I can't tell if that was a positive or negative reaction What's an eyewig?
@TheoryNumber3 like an earwig hooks you into a song a word eyewigs you into seeing the word. I just made it up to try & explain. It obviously didn't!
@FrayedBear I like it
All of it is fascinating. As for beauty I thought Nefertiti was stunning. There are others too.
On into Jesus, or Jesus Christ as some would call him. I noted that there are so many paintings of him and they all come from the Western world. How would they know what he looked like. Next, you think you have an idea from the image on the Shroud of Turin. They show a picture but the shroud is a known fake. I mean "fake" in the way that it is assumed by some to be a burial shroud of Jesus. Where did this knowledge come from? I also mean "fake" in the way that it is painted in places and did not come from the same era as Jesus. It came into existence later.
It's all fairy tales
