I WISH EVERYONE a HAPPY HOLIDAY with THEIR FAMILY this CHRISTMAS at least UNDER A TREE.

Wish everyone kisses and hugs from all your love ones. As we always have throughout human history. As for each time passes our viruses and disease shared make our Immune system practice to grow stronger and live longer. Love conquers all and distancing realationships divide us all and weaken our immune system.

Most misconception about me is I belong to the right wing nut job group of thinking. I repeat, only belong to love/work and optimist club of individualism sharing. I find both sides more extremely one-sided than ever in my lifetime. Maybe you sense the same underneath it is all, and the humanity side is within us all. I may joke , yet in reality I don't want to dehumanize or demonize anyone. I find better answers are on the middle ground of both the extreme sides. The world leaders always fall into the extreme of us against them which is always the biggest part of the problem. If family must stay away from each other and infant have to wear a mask ritual will destroy our nervous system and realationships. With human society, personal growth and relationships growth.

Wish for the best for everyone these family holidays. Don't let the omicron or o- mi-con get you down, it hasn't killed anyone yet. Don't let anything get in the way of your love ones. Go for your love ones these happy HOLIDAY

You should lead by example and visit with a many people as you possibly can. Maybe bring get well cards directly to all the patients that are positive for Covid, but never with one of those liberal hoax masks that only serve to mock your immune system by claiming it needs help!

In my area people are dying of heart disease a 100 times greater than covid deaths, since covid started vaccines,.
Don't know of anyone in my area or family who died of covid death to give an ampathy card to. Have been visiting friends that are died or dying of cancer or Héart disease over a greater lack of surgeries. Because better paid for covid beds who are hogging in the hospitals everywhere. Being unvaxxer can't even go out of my province also to help family also. I guess they all will die a lonely death too.
There is even protester at hospitals over covid unfairness.. Here is the hypocrisy, nurse's and many of the Politicains do not need to be vaccinated wail 87% of the rest of people are vaccinated.

@Castlepaloma "people are dying of heart disease a 100 times greater than covid deaths, since covid started vaccines"
I don't think this says what you think it says. Ha ha ha ha.

"Don't know of anyone in my area or family who died of covid death to give an ampathy card to."
I don't want you to visit the dead, I want you to hang out with the infected and breathing and give them big long hugs.

@Castlepaloma Hospitals don't get paid pay just for COVID deaths/beds. While completely accurate that many who need surgery or hospital care are not being taken care of, the sad state is many hospitals are in triage mode so those most ill and with the best chances are given the care.
I hope you and yours have a happy holiday and we all make the choice to be not just physically well but mentally well.

@JeffMurray
The maritime Canada has 10,000 Héart disease related deaths a year, only 100 covid deaths. I'm not stupid, not going to hug an 85 year old granny dying of covid.

@Castlepaloma What are you afraid of? Your immune system is better than a vaccine!! Wouldn't it really stick it to all those filthy, stupid liberals if you got covid as an unvaccinated person and ended up even healthier on the other side? Man would they look stupid with all that egg on their smug stupid little faces. You should also see if you could catch measles from an anti-vaxxer co-op so you can earn the superior immunity from beating the disease with your better-than-a-vaccine immune system... that is unless your mom was a scaredy cat and forced one of those anti-freedom vaccinations on you when you were a kid. I bet you can go to bug chasing forums to find parties where you can really show off how much better immune systems are than modern medicine! Make us all look like fools.

@JeffMurray

I trusted older types of vaccines even though I got a bit.sick from them. The covid vaccines are not even vaccines. Their a game the elite play with the public of Russian roulette. I'm for people killing themselves just not for them killing me, Most importantly is my choice, my body.. Or they ultimately own your mind and body

Thanks for the good wishes and I wish you and yours the same. The difference is that I will have no tree.

Warmth of family and friends is most important.

Don't forget to hug and kiss them.

Vaccines are a safer way to practice, especially with measles which can wipe out your hard work acquiring immune memory:

[asm.org]

“The risk associated with measles infection is much greater than the sum of its observable symptoms. The immune memories that you have acquired are priceless, built over many years and from countless exposures to a menagerie of germs. Measles virus is especially dangerous because it has the ability to destroy what’s been earned: immune memory from previous infections. Meanwhile, the process of fighting measles infection leaves patients especially vulnerable to secondary infection. The worldwide increase in measles prevalence is cause for concern because morbidity and mortality from the disease extends far beyond acute measles infection. How exactly can one virus wreak so much havoc?”

And vaccination against COVID has less risk than chancing it with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which doesn’t need to kill you to have bad enough consequences like the infamous long-hauler syndrome. And those who refuse vaccines and wind up in the hospital are negatively impacting hospitals, unnecessarily taking up space needed by people who are sick with other causes or need procedures done. With COVID we have witnessed the collective shredding of any social contract or sense of personal responsibility to others.

The measles killed 140,000 worldwide wouldn't compare to the Spanish moreso related to the covid
Spanish flu was in a similar way Brought in the world order tactics of world war 1 . Where they vaccinated given to the Army troops and the Vaccines spread the Spanish flu around the world with more vaccines. All people have cancer in degrees, I'm not going to take chemotherapy because it protests others nonsense.
That's how science works, with opposing views Most people lack a great amount of knowledge about vaccines history.

@Castlepaloma Well current flu vaccines have a way to go as far as effectiveness but they don’t cause or spread flu. Due to the way influenza viruses mutate and recombine their antigens vaccine makers are in a perpetual arms race. The COVID vaccines are a far greater success story than the still helpful flu vaccines, but the downsides of ignorance, fear, propaganda, hesitancy, and inequitable distribution make it so their impact on populations susceptible to the virus is woefully incomplete and instead of successfully wiping SARS-CoV out quickly, it evolves perhaps by spillover from animals or from using immune compromised from HIV as a reservoir where it can mutate rapidly or recombine with other coronaviruses. But manufactures will update the vaccines to improve immunity against new variants. Omicron has shown that viruses can change quite quickly and unexpectedly , but new strains of flu have already demonstrated that. Bird flu is a looming concern. People are hopeful currently formulated boosters will help with Omicron or that its genetic changes have made it less deadly. That latter part remains to be seen. No time to be letting our guards down and dropping the ball.

And with Xmas season upon us how many recovering from preventable cases of COVID will struggle for breath with damaged lungs or not be able to taste and enjoy their holiday dinners? Have you considered their plight? The fully vaccinated, those who ignored bad ideas from people spouting nonsense online, are less likely to be in such tragic situations. Death is not the only preventable outcome of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

And one thing missing from your account of cancer is that vaccines against HPV act as a preventative against the scourge of cervical and other cancers.

@Castlepaloma …and where are you getting “Where they vaccinated given to the Army troops and the Vaccines spread the Spanish flu around the world with more vaccines.”?

[reuters.com]

“The claim that the influenza pandemic of 1918 “was the after-effect of the massive nation-wide vaccine campaign” is unfounded. A vaccine against the flu did not exist at the time. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having “no vaccine to protect against influenza infection and no antibiotics to treat secondary bacterial infections that can be associated with influenza infections” meant that “control efforts worldwide were limited to non-pharmaceutical interventions, such as isolation, quarantine, good personal hygiene, use of disinfectants, and limitations of public gatherings, which were applied unevenly.” ”

The military of world war two were the first to die of Spanish flu and vaccinated. Flu shots have been going on for 100 years. I haven't taken the flu shot I haven't caught the flu. The Vaccines today are the covids or mutated into variants of it.

@Castlepaloma
The source you cite gives a riveting account of influenza in the soldiers of World War I (not II) and says nothing about vaccination. It does make me reflect on the need of our current day troops to be fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 to maintain combat readiness and not burden military medical personnel or taxpayers with results of their bad decisions due to misinformation. Your cite also recounts the racism black soldiers faced. A great source for basic history but not supportive of your arguments.

Since the vaccine had not come out when the measles ran through my neighborhood as a kid AND I've had shingles let me say parents need to get the kiddos vaxed! I did get the new shingles vaccine after the fact but the nerves issues that can occur after a bout of shingles continue to fucking plague me.
My twin had gotten the older shingles vaccine (the new one is quite new) and had a minor but annoying attack of shingles at the back of her neck. I've had both shots and the booster and feel fine, seems there is not much to be done with other issues one can deals with at 68.😁
p.s. I realize shingles are the sometimes out come from having the chicken pox but trust me you DO NOT want a shingles out break near your eye!!!!!!
Vaccines are soooo helpful.

@silverotter11 Ironically I’ve been procrastinating my shingles vaccination. I need to do that one as I want to avoid that preventable misery.

@Scott321 Fuckin' DO IT! Trust me!

@Scott321
Got a whole book at the library with many photos of soldiers of being vaccines US army sergeant surgery general, 1917-1919. It's really well hidden online. Many things they don't allow to load.
Like 1000 movies related to the Holocaust and nothing I can find on Stalin who kill far more than Hitler did . It's the winner who write the history. Same with power to be today and the same group people.
