Just arrived back at home after taking my little gifts around Jase, Cassie and their Mum Louise to add that bit of cheer into their tough lives.
Bozzo, aka Robert walked out on Lou and his 2 children last August when Lou was ordered by Doctors to have a Hysterectomy or haemorrage to death.
Bozzo being a full on Catholic refused to remain with a "woman who could no longer fulfill her obligations to him, God and the Church by having as many children as possible."
So Lou and the 2 ankle biters have doing things hard ever since.
As I have known Lou since she went to High School with my daughter, Lorrae, I've been like a big brother of sorts to her and an Uncle of sorts to the kids SO Uncle decided to 'pitch in' and give the kids that bit of extra treat-wise for Xmas.
Cassie is almost 9 and will read anything and everything, even the labels on cans, bottles, jars, etc, etc, so I bought a heap of books on all sorts of things, bundle them together and made them a Xmas pressie for Cassie, 39 books in total and when Cassie opened up her pressie, tears literally poured out of her eyes and down her cheeks.
Jase is crazy about Dinosaurs and building models so I heard that there was a shop selling up and closing down so I went and checked it out, Joy of Joys it was a Toy shop packed full of model kits that they could not sell, dinosaurs and all, so Jase now has * model kits of dinosaurs to put together and 5 other kits to put together including 3 motorbikes and 2 cars.
As for Lou, well I did some wheeling and Dealing with a friend who has a Grazing Property and we butchered and cut up 3 yearling sheep, a forequarter of Prime Beef, a full side of yearling Pork plus gave her 3 laying hens and a chicken house that can be rolled around on wheels and a 30 kilo bag of chicken feed as well.
When we left, after 4 cups of coffee and 4 slices of homemade cake each, a few dozen hugs and cheek kissings from all 3 people, Lou was busy packing the meats into her freezer and trying to work out WHAT to cook for dinner tonight instead of tinned spaghetti on toast, Cassie was nose down bum up reading books, Jase was puzzling over which model to build first and the 3 hens were hunting bugs in the back lawn.
Mack and I are trying to decide as to whether or not to send a Bill to Santa for the delivery costs....LOL.
Oh, Before I forget, the kids got ABSOLUTELY ZERO from their father btw.

Glad they appreciated everything.

Appreciated, appreciated, my neck still aches from all hugging it got from the kids.

@Triphid I'm sure you won't mind recovering from those.

I just try to help when I see that help is needed that's all, any decent person would do the same wouldn't they?

You are not only a great story teller, but a prince of a man as well! Well done Santa, because Santa lives in the hearts of those who care.

No stories told by me mate, and not a Santa either just me being me and trying to help those in need.

@Triphid admirable none the less.
