American's need to get over themselves. Democracy is nowhere near on the line because of Jan 6th events, it was in deep shit way before that. I can pinpoint the exact day, when the Patriot Act was enacted, removing the need for congress/ accountability.
There were protests where the American only democratic process (handover of govt/ power) was challenged. It held and the status quo was maintained and defended. That is democracy in action. Protests and opposing views to reach a consensus is democracy.

So many regard cannabis DECRIMINALIZATION to be a comical topic. But thousands await trial incarcerated for non violent cannabis possession because they can't make bail. Then there are the convictions. It is as if cannabis is a tool by which to imprison men of color predominantly. Lose the right to vote is convicted. Disenfranchisement by cannabis possession. Get to the polls in numbers that can not be contested with any credibility. Tho it matters not to the MAGAs, it matters to history & our posterity. Viva America! The light of the world. Actually, if you ask a republican on the street, quite a few of them favor fair voting. The politicians are fully engaged in fostering fascism.

It isn’t “interesting”; it is pitiful. All we can do is volunteer to counteract their measures. Become a Voter Registrar in your state and go into poor neighborhoods to register voters. Volunteer to drive poor people to vote.
