DA requesting grand jury for possible election interference by Trump. I expect, if it comes about, he will claim executive privilege. Unfortunately, since he was the president at the time, his SCOTUS might side with him and say the pissass Congress needs to do something.

Agreed. Congress is too big a mess to get anything real done. 90% of the issues we face politically and policy wise are due to the corrupt lackeys and their lobbyists.
