Was traveling through the Badlands stopped off at Devil's Tower to camp, learned how it got its name , was and still is a spiritual sight for the local Native Americans, was named Devil's Tower because anything that wasnt Christian was considered evil according to the Spanish Catholics

I have visited Devils Tower and hiked around its base a half dozen times over the last 35 or so years. I always spend some time in the visiter center and have read extensively about the geologic history of the area. No source that I have seen says what you are asserting. The native Americans have very different legends regarding the tower.

I'm not sure if the catholics were more evil then, or now. Then, more people died, but they did it openly. Later, they just started hiding all their evil and covering up their actions.
