Another shining example of how fucked up religion is.

Another one here from a β€œchristian” web site known as Gab.

What most christians fail to understand is jesus was a jew.

@xenoview True……but this is the same place occupied by QMORON (ANON) , Flat Earthers, Proud Boys, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar and Matt Gaetz are on there as well. Which isn’t surprising.

@CuddyCruiser Some stupid beliefs and people.

@xenoview QANON and flatearthers are a bunch of fuckin’ morons. Not to mention those 3 said names being in the majority next year will surely bring a lot more drama.

Nice response. In my area those at the door could be JW's, Baptists, or Mormons.

That's probably the best response I've ever heard to them.

Meme God organism exist, atheism illogical.

And for imaginary friends, research shows people with imaginary (God) friends they are more intelligent.

Adults in history have had entities such as household gods, guardian angels, and muses that functioned as imaginary companions to provide comfort, guidance and inspiration for creative work.[3] wikipedia

...and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:3

Nobel Prizes have been awarded to over 900 individuals, of whom at least 20% were Jews.

More intelligent than what? A goldfish?
Nobel, prizes have also been awarded to Atheists. What does that prove?

@Word I'd love to see the research that says that adults with imaginary friends are more intelligent. I've always been surprised that we make fun of kids who have imaginary friends but we don't care when adults do. Probably 75% of the people on this site were originally brainwashed by religion straight from their parents. There are many reasons why some people don't want to look into religion further or give up their religion. In terms of the Jews who have won Nobel prizes, you have no idea how religious they are. Under the Neo-Nazi rules I'll get killed whether I believe in God or not because my mother was Jewish.

@lerlo If you didn’t have imaginary friends, it’s not too late. WikiHow has a guide for how to make the best imaginary friend possible. Their 8 steps are:

@Word still waiting on that research about people with Imaginary Friends being more intelligent

@lerlo don't let me stop you from researching for it

@lerlo However, there is also a positive side to positive self-talk and in this study they found that, "people with higher levels of self-reinforcing self-talk reported more positive self-esteem and more frequent automatic positive self-statements".[22] They also found that men had a more frequent self-reinforcing self-talk than females.[22] This particular finding is important because there are not many general findings comparing men and women in adult self-talk in today's research. Self-talk and imaginary companionship contain many similarities therefore it is possible that they can be related.

[22] Brinthaupt, Thomas M.; Dove, Christian T. (June 2012). "Differences in self-talk frequency as a function of age, only-child, and imaginary childhood companion status". Journal of Research in Personality. 46 (3): 326–333

@lerlo Self-talk and imaginary companionship contain many similarities therefore it is possible that they can be related.

While self-talk research is ongoing, the Mayo Clinic experts say redirecting negative thoughts toward the positive may lead to:2

Increased life span
Lower rates of depression
Lower levels of distress
Better psychological and physical well-being
Better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress

@lerlo Abstract
Self-talk can improve cognitive performance, but the underlying mechanism of such improvement has not been investigated. This study aimed to elucidate the effects of self-talks on functional connectivity associated with cognitive performance.

@Word so basically you switched it from imaginary friends to talking to yourself. And I'm sure that people hearing voices are also smarter than everyone else

@lerlo I didn't switch anything. That corrilation comes from the references not me.

And, it seems a stretch to make some assumption that hearing voices is a corrilation to the connection of talking to one's self and intelligence capabilities.

For almost a year, I interacted with a man which had experienced voices and hallucinations for 20 years. A part of the things I observed, he seemed to be of a lower intelligence capabilities. Towards the end of my visits with him he told me he no longer needed his bipolar schitzoeffective medication. He also told me he was no longer hearing voices nor having hallucinations. He attributed his loss of these symptoms to our visits. He said prior, he would not be able to be off his meds more than a few days without ending up back in the mental hospital.

As reference below states that they still don't understand things about schizophrenia. This in my observations has to do with psychology observation has yet to discover meme organism as I have observation of it.

Is schizophrenia linked to intelligence?
Background: Schizophrenia patients are typically found to have low IQ both pre- and post-onset, in comparison to the general population. However, a subgroup of patients displays above average IQ pre-onset. The nature of these patients' illness and its relationship to typical schizophrenia is not well understood.
