Have we aged more rapidly during the pandemic?
Of course not. I've just become more agitated, grumpy and intolerant. But I didn't age.
Maybe that's a related topic : Illusions of Time!
That's pretty interesting. People seriously think, though, that they actually aged faster during the pandemic, due to stress and depression, which can shorten the lifespan. I can also say that every decade whizzes by faster to me. No plateaus here!
I think that some/many people will feel that they have aged during the pandemic. Doubtless, there will be others who feel differently. It has certainly afforded everyone an opportunity to reflect on their lives.
I think we are all more philosophical now. I know I treasure seeing my friends more, too.
