So, if they are found guilty, what will the punishment be......... time in a Vatican dungeon cell or like other catholic crimes, sent somewhere else to work.

Of course when it comes to money then it's serious. Raping children, not so much.
Thank you for this as it was reminder of a book that came out after the sudden, mysterious death of John-Paul I. The book "In God's Name" [goodreads.com] was an expose' of a 'wide' investigation around the death. It was strongly intimated that when the pope started an investigation of the Vatican bank than all hell broke loose. A large part of the financial institution was under the auspices of the Mafia. Investigators were brutally murdered or 'committed suicide' and a bomb went of in the railway station in Bologna Italy. 85 people were killed and 182 were injured. It was shown the bomb was masterminded by the P2. P2 Propaganda Due a Masonic lodge under the Grand Orient of Italy, founded in 1877. Its Masonic charter was withdrawn in 1976, and it transformed into a clandestine, anti-communist, anti-Soviet, anti-leftist, pseudo-Masonic, and radical right organization operating in contravention of Article 18 of the Constitution of Italy that banned secret associations. In its latter period, during which the lodge was headed by Licio Gelli, P2 was implicated in numerous Italian crimes and mysteries, including the collapse of the Holy See-affiliated Banco Ambrosiano, the murders of journalist Mino Pecorelli and banker Roberto Calvi, and corruption cases within the nationwide bribe scandal Tangentopoli. P2 came to light through the investigations into the collapse of Michele Sindona's financial empire.

Pathetic.
When there are financial discrepancies, they act.
When it's predatory abuse, they do nothing unless and until they're forced to. Even then it's not more than the bare minimum.

I know I say it quite often, but the rcc should be sued into bankruptcy and oblivion.

They take action when it's money, but do nothing when it's children being raped by priest.

You can’t always get more money, but, You can always get more kids

@Canndue I don't know about that, even the Vatican has found ways to SQUEEZE money out the dead, something they've perfected over the centuries since the Church was first founded in mid- 4th. C.E.
And with its staunch stance on Contraception of ANY kind it also ensures its Paedo-Priests of an endless supply of victims as well.
So they have BOTH those bases covered have they not?

@Triphid Unfortunately you are totally correct…..
