@nogod4me Dude!!! This country (Nore Any Other) could survive without fossil fuels today and you know it. WE HAVE TO HAVE IT FOR NOW... It will be many years before we have the ability to phase out everything that runs on fossil fuels. Until then, we should be making sure we have a steady, affordable supply to keep everything going. It really is that simple.

But that dosen't negate the fact that we still have to use those fuels now to continue to operate our countries. Surely you understand that. That being said, why not be using our own rather than buying them from countries (Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc) that will only use the profits for nefarious projects? We have plenty here to use, and we are much better at extracting, processing and using them more safely and cleanly than these other countries. You can't argue with that. Yes?

[bollingermotors.com] , [blog.consumerguide.com] , Chevy Volt, Ford F150 Lightening, Nissan Ariya, or LEAF,, how about the Toyota Prius Prime, RAV4 Prime, Corolla Hybrid... perhaps you prefer the Volkswagon ID.3, ID.4, ID.BUZZ... They're all good.. Hell, do I have to even mention the Tesla? I'm actually looking at getting one myself. HELL NO... So your point is moot.. In fact, it's bull shit. They've been working on it and putting out EVs for a while now, just not enough to supply our country's need for efficient, dependable transportation. The point is, we have to have SOMETHING to transport us and our goods RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!! It's not that hard to understand.

As I have mentioned before, Republicans, like DeJoy, are fighting green/clean energy, protecting Big Oil and keep the money flowing to them. They have even subsidized the "Hummer" vehicle while cutting subsidizes for General Motor's EV1.
