I'm not very good at holiday planning. But I do get inspired for my RED MEAT good Friday dinner as is a tradition in my family. ๐Ÿ˜†

Every day is a good day for steak! I love holiday meals, donโ€™t give a damn about the reason for the holiday! Pork and sauerkraut for New Years, ham for corned beef and cabbage for St. Paddyโ€™s Day, ham for Easter, burgers for the Fourth of July, turkey for Thanksgiving and prime rib for Christmas. Gives me something to look forward to during the year. And it maintains family tradition even though I am making them just for myself.

More leftovers for You!

@AnneWimsey exactly! And I can freeze some and have easy meals later.

I was thinking Lobster....is that one of the shellfish (like shrimp) forbidden in the Babble? I hope!

Make it rare. Good Friday is one of my favorite days for red meat.

Rare for sure!!!! ๐Ÿฅฉ ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹

Good Friday is a municipal holiday in Philadelphia. Schools are closed and trash is not collected. My trash pickup is on Friday and I always forget.
