All that was true in 2016, and yet Americans voted for him. It was true in 2020, as well as his corruption and incompetence in office, yet 75 million voted for him again. We know what's wrong with Trump and what a lying fascist grifter he is. But those of us in the rest of the world would like to know what's wrong with Americans. Do they need to collapse into authoritarianism to relearn the lesson of struggle for liberty? I suspect so.

Nothing is wrong with ALL Americans, but four decades ago while I was reseaching for a book a sociologist told me that about one-sixth are hard authoritarians and another sixth are soft authoritarians.
Since then, I noted often that 33-to-36% of voters consistently support conservative measures. More than that number are Republicans, so measures initiated by the Party will be supported by more than that many voters.
By the way, there’s also nothing wrong with ALL Australians.

You don't think I don't know that huge numbers of Americans know they live in a corrupt country, a corrupt class and power structure which abuses and exploits them? But facts are facts. 75 million voted for Trump in 2020, and that many and more will vote for him and the Republicans in 2022 and 2024 and effectively end your 'democracy'. What's wrong with THEM is the point. Focus.
Under Biden and the Democraps inflation has been skyrocketing. I’m a rancher and I’ve never saw that much out of control inflation in my life. Anhydrous ammonia fertilizer which is very common here and probably the number one fertilizer used has gone from 450 a ton to 1,400 a ton and it’s still going up. Glyphosphate which is the number one chemical used in Minimum and no till farming has gone from 12.50 a gallon to 48 dollars per gallon. 2-4D another common chemical has gone from 11 dollars a gallon to 28.50 per gallon. And fuel prices are skyrocketing to. I think and hope that this out of control inflation will sink Biden and the Democraps. And I wish Trump was back. Or at least a sensible republican who would get this under control.
