The issue is so minor in the face of all the other things that Biden will not change, that I fail to really care much what he does on weed. It would have no effect on whether I would vote for him. If he or Harris runs in two years, I promise the Repub candidate, whether it's Trump or someone else, will win. We are doomed.
I can't vote in your poll, but unless legalization also carried with it the provision that employers couldn't test for it, which I doubt would ever happen, then it being legal is irrelevant to me. My job tests for nicotine and that's always been legal.
If however, he made it legal and unlawful to test for it, I'd vote for him for anything he wanted for the rest of his life.
@darren316 It's such bullshit. I can get blackout drunk the night before work, and as long as the alcohol is clear from my urine, it's fine according to the rules, but if you smoke one joint in Jamaica while on a week and a half long vacation where it's perfectly legal, nope, you're a drug addict and you have to go to counseling and submit to weekly plus random drug tests for like a year or something crazy and you can't even drink alcohol while you're at home anymore. Makes zero sense. I think the thing I hate most about this shitty world is rules that don't make sense. If there was a candidate that would attack those kinds of rules every day in office, I think I'd have to vote for them even if they were a Republican. (Then again, if they wouldn't stand for any rules that didn't make sense, they wouldn't be anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-vaxx, or any of the other antis that make me hate that party so much...)
