Some people cannot think logically. Years ago in Texas my younger daughter and I were coming back from a social event in my old Chevy truck. Both of us were dressed up very nicely and when almost home, we were stopped by Texas Rangers. At this point the 2 Rangers were examining our photo ID's and talking among themselves about the prison escapee who stole a Chevy truck that looked like mine and then kidnapped a young girl. The younger Ranger says "I'm telling you this is them" and his older companion officer made him get back in the car. Then we are apologized to as we get our ID's back and are allowed to leave.

I told this story recently at work and a girl there says "it's possible. I'm telling you it is possible." So, what is possible. A local prison escapee decides to steal an old truck and kidnap a young girl, but to pass this off as legit he somehow has someone he knows make him and the girl photo ID's that tie right into the Texas database of real people living in one household. How would that be done and for what purpose? Maybe the girl at my work has seen too many movies. Photo ID's are verified by radio check.

As this conversation moved along the girl I work with has a story of how she was almost arrested recently for being a pedophile. Her claim is that someone with a vehicle like hers is forcing young children into the vehicle and driving away. She is so thankful that they did not think she was a pedophile. The interesting thing is that local TV and newsprint has nothing about this pedophile at all. Our area has no pedophiles currently but there is always the parents trying to kidnap their own children. This happens all the time. Some people just do not know how to think logically.
