The 'Infamous' Eurovision Song Contest 2022, starting tomorrow!
Guess which country is gonna win. Ukraine, of course! The UK comes last every year, but this year, it might get some points because it's helping Ukraine. Who knows?
It's still fun to watch. Quite cultural really.
Watch all 40 entries of the countries competing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, on 10, 12 and 14 May. The running orders of the First and Second Semi-Finals will be announced shortly.

The Eurovision Song Contest comes around each year. It's a long time since I watched, and back in the days when I did I found it spectacularly disappointing. Maybe a couple of interesting songs, but most were classic "Hope I never waste my life listening to that again" material.
It's over-ridden with politics and petty reactions - A gives B maximum points, so B gives A maximum points. It's expanded to the point of being a massive, interminable marathon.
There really is little to recomment it.
Fair enough. And I agree with the points you make. My friends and I still watch it for a bit of laugh. Lol
Politics aside, I'm gonna enjoy watching it tonight.
I used to love watching the Eurovison once upon a time. Now days so many of the songs just sound the same to me, and the costumes are just rather stupid too. Since Terry Wogan stopped being the compare it somehow doesn't feel the same.
Terry Wogan was brilliant! Graham Norton took over and he is actually not bad. His British sense of humour, i.e., sarcasm, is about as good as TW's.
@Ryo1 Why is Eurovision " infamous" imo, please explain?
Is it perhaps because the United States of Absurdity has NOT entered a Contestant in for decades if memory serves correct, OR because a European Country thought up the idea, ran with and has made a success of which somehow ranks you sense of American Superiority?
Come on, be 100% HONEST and answer the questions.
It's all political, that's why. Have you ever watched it? Neighbouring countries vote for each other. It's called 'Eurovision'. Do you know what it means? Yet your country, Australia, is in it. Did you know that? Russia has always participated in it but not this year. Why do you think that is? Politics aside, people still enjoy watching it. Do your homework first before you come on. Don't expect others to explain everything for you.
Why would you think in advance that the Ukraine is going to win?
Because this event is political, unfortunately.
Russian artists are not allowed to participate this year.
@Ryo1 What so he peoples of Ukraine are NOT, by Law of @Ryo1to even have the smallest of joys or pleasures in their sorely troubled lives with the Mad Man Putin sending his armies to invade THEIR COUNTRY because HE deems it to be his RIGHT to do so?
There is an old saying of Jealousy is a Curse, but imo, you have helped create a newer version imo, Jealousy may be a curse but a self-righteous, Putin loving, Seppo is even worse.
