Decided to just sit quietly on my front veranda yesterday afternoon and enjoy the bit of sun that there was on my face, etc.
A nice, hot freshly made cup of coffee, a crossword puzzle and the birds, of course the birds enjoying an extra feed of free seed.
Almost an absolute paradise except was not going to tempt fate and have a bit of music playing as well, should have though because, you guessed it, something came along to spoil my enjoyment and reverie.
" Mum won't give me the money to get the wood-burner fixed, she won't give me the money to pay all the fines and stuff I wrongly got on the weekend, I went to 3 Banks and the Credit Union to get a loan but they said NO because the house is NOT fully in my name, it's in my name and Mums as well, so I rang her and asked why and was told that the family did not trust me so they decided that I should only ever own half of the house and when Mum dies the control of it goes first to my oldest sister, the bitch, she has always hated me, then my eldest brother, the one who swore to call the police and have me charged if I ever went near him or his children ever again, so I need you to be a good Christian and fix my heater for me while I use all the money I have hidden away to pay all the fines and stuff, okay Friend, okay?"
I'll give everyone 3 guesses as to what my response/answer to his plea was and why he went off home crying his eyes out.

It's really a comment on Humanity that, if a horse goes lame, we put it out of it's misery. If a person goes lame, we just allow them to keep dumping on everyone else. How very pro-life of us...

Man IF Evangeloon were born as a horse they'd have put it and the stallion down because,
a) they'd have realized the the foal was totally useless, and,
b) if that's what the Stallion is capable of siring then it too is useless and a waste of pasture and fodder.

I'm convinced the guy is mentally ill.
His own family doesn't even want to help him.
Hope he's got plenty of blankets.

Or maybe he can ask his buddies down at the church for help.

I am not sure if his mental illness has reached the level where he can be compulsorily hospitalised.

as my 8 year old nephew used to say, but he actually meant it to be the other way around, " He's as fruity and as a nut-cake."

Probably BUT to be truly mentally DEFICIENT does one NOT need a brain first? LOL.

P.S. I am not surprised that his oldest sister has issues with him, and he has only himself to blame for that.

I also wonder why he has such trouble being an ordinary decent human being.

If memory serves correct, his ex- lady friend Liz informed me that the Gospel-Goon ( her term for him not mine btw) has never come to terms that his father insisted that all his children learn to respect each other, everyone else and NOT to harbour the idea that " Everything and Anything they want should be handed to them without question.
From what I know and have learned of the family the rest of it are good and decent people who paid heed to what their parents tried to teach them all EXCEPT one of course.

I agree with @anglophone "No. Cash up front or no deal."

Or...Go home and pray. I'm sure Jesus will fix it for you.

When family says no, there's usually a good reason.

"No. Cash up front or no deal."

Exactly my sentiments, I do NOT intend to be "stung" by him ever again thank you.

@Triphid Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. 🙂

@Betty Exactly.
