Some of the people who have supported Trump wanted to hop on the gravy train of greed, and others are reactionary, racist rabble rousers. But, the most are decent people who let themselves get taken for a ride and conned because they wanted to believe him.
At one time or another, we have all let ourselves get conned because we wanted to believe that person. I respect people who can admit to themselves -- and others -- their error in judgment I urge you to admit your huge mistake in believing Trump and join the rest of us in making the man the pariah that he really is.
Trump is the single greatest internal threat to our democracy, government, civil rights, and moral order in the history of our country. Stand up and correct your mistake, or hand your head in shame.

Trump made it clear where he was coming from when he first announced his candidacy. You don't call people murderers and rapists, talk about building a wall that another country will pay for and expect to have any credibility IMO. On top of that you have his treatment of women. I fail to see how anyone could support his antics now unless they are just in denial or don't want to admit they were wrong. I feel sorry for Melania who happens to be a class act. I sure hope she is being well compensated by his handlers for "standing by her man".

Oh,if only the good people who got taken were ready to admit their mistake. I agree with your assessment of Trump, but his approval rating his consistently been around 40%. That's a pretty big fraction of suckers.

I've found that many ultra conservatives will vote for the party and won't consider the issues or what the person's values are.
Most that I have met are still ardent, probably due to watching only fox news. They aren't quite as vocal now though.
