I don't think there is any harm in looking at your ideas and where they come from. A 'higher power', for example. Do you know why you believe there is such a thing? Do you have any suspicion as to what the nature of such a thing might be? Next, what is a 'true Eden' as opposed to a not true one? For me, it was simple. Beliefs are a dime a dozen. Evaluating reality on the basis of evidence is a different process.

God is a lie: The lie to themselves humans write on the label they stick on everything they cannot fathom, but which their curiosity won't let rest. Funny how people prefer to be lied to, and how easily they accept it, rather than live with the aching unfairness of not knowing...

The true Eden? The true Eden is the womb of a woman of child bearing age. Both male and female can be the naked occupants of that womb and all their needs are provided for. Once they are ready to feed differently they are forced out of that womb and can never return again.
More than one god? There are thousands of gods. As for the Samaritan tablets I hold them in no greater regard than any other writing that claims to be scripture or holy in some way. Also, Chariots of the Gods didn't explain anything. It only deepened the mystery. We are all star stuff but other than that we have no clue where we came from.

I find that an interesting concept. I feel that there is something bigger than/more than me. I don't call it "God", but I feel a unifying oneness idea comforting.

Does it make you feel more secure if you invent your own God? As a young child I had a special rock. I carried it in my pocket always. While I had the rock I did well in school and was batting and fielding fantastically for my little league team. I was saying the rock was my God. One morning I woke up and my rock was missing....my Mom threw it in the garbage while I was asleep. I ran outside to the trash bin but it was empty...the trash had already been picked up. My God was dead. I soon discovered I really didn't need the rock...or a God.
