When does a collection of cells that forms a part of her body become an autonomous human being? Removing an unwanted growth in her body is her choice, once it becomes an autonomous person then it is the other person's choice. So I agree with what you have to say but not the way you said it.

A fetus is not another human being. It might become one when it is born but people are trying to give the fetus rights that are greater than the woman who carries it.

Placing the rights of a potentiality above the rights of an adult human being is just a very weak argument.

Where is the proof that the foetus is not a sentient human from the moment of conception? From the moment that the sperm joins the ova a defined measurable set of events occur that ends up in something we recognise as a living human. That sequence of events is no different to you waking up of a morning & commencing your day. By your argument you didn't exist for the time that you were sleeping. Therefore murdering a sleeping person should carry no penalty? . . . Well if you are American & it's a leftie in another country that is ok!
