My ex wife's family was deeply involved in Legio Maria (Legion of Mary) and her grandfather was one of the founders. The group is a mix of Catholic, African, and Pentecostal belief. There leader, Simeo Undato was poisoned but many believe he is the black Jesus and that he resurrected and they see him all the time. He appears at least one time a year. They also know that the "Second Coming" is right around the corner.

Delusional, deranged and dangerous ! These beliefs about “End Times” and “The Rapture” keep recurring …and these sort of occurrences will keep continuing to happen because the Bible is open to interpretation by the unscrupulous who will exploit people’s belief and superstition in certain parts of the world.

And the mythological Jesus said unto Peter, "Look after my sheep."
Imo, it should have been SHEEPLE and not merely sheep.

How very sad that these people were abused like this.
