The christian mindset of the rule makers seems to blind them to the idea that any special considerations given to their religion can also be used by any other religion.
I think as christianity declines and other faiths grow (which is the current trend, albeit slowly) more attention will be paid to how issues like prayer in schools might encourage/empower muslims and hindus etc, and the christians in charge will grow more cautious when ruling on these issues.
