It's a sad state of affairs that people would rather give money to people like this than support universal healthcare.

While these pictures do paint a level of greed, it should be noted that the money they take would have gone to some other 'worthy' organization. People feel good when they are doing something altruistic from their point-of-view. If the money was actually going to help others it would be one thing, but very few religions or ministers do this (the only one I can think of is Billy Graham).

Billy Graham was worth millions when he died, and his children are quite wealthy.

Well, we all love money, don't we?..... They are scammers (some really good). Who's fault is it if they manage to rip people off?

Let me put this way, I haven't give any money to them and ever will. There's nothing they can do to rip me off. If someone else fall for it then that's not enough reason for me to hate them.

Okay I'm going to get attacked for saying this so before I do, I want to say these people are slime balls feeding off the ignorance of the masses. However, they are rich because they are the best at what they do and what they do is out perform their peers. They're the top actors in their field and they're filling a desire. If it weren't these people it would be someone else. These people are in a very profitable business and in a way they're no different than any other CEO out there. We don't like them because we see the hypocrisy and we oppose their worldview.

I cannot disagree with a single word of that. You are completely correct.
PT Barnum probably put it best, "There's a sucker born every minute,"

I think you nailed it

Interestingly put.

@KKGator @Condor5 @IamNobody I have to admit that I'm surprised that I didn't get any retaliation. Thank you guys

@paul1967 I agree that you could've gotten some, however you did state your case from a very rational standpoint. That helps for sure. It's risky waters and there may be sharks, you right about that... you never know. That should not be a reason not to speak your mind.

I think you are very accurate, very succinct, and totally correct.

@IamNobody Ditto!

Daaaaaaang, that is some hair in the top right. ?

Especially that guy in the middle with the smile on his face.

That's Joel Osteen; kinda reminds me of Ted Cruz, almost vampiric.

@Condor5 yes he is an asshole

@lbusche, an asshole's asshole.

As a kid, I’d listen to that shit ..or dad would occasionally play it on the car radio, if only to ‘question it.’ As wound up as those a-holes could/ would get over their invisible entity … their true emphasis came down to Money! Dad would grin 😀 ...then turn it to some damn country station 😉
