Well sure... but they still suck.
Millennials and GEN Z - Christopher Titus
He's right. I fully agree that us Boomers have collectively let them down and they have been handed a terrible society to live in. Having said that, I am not personally responsible for their terrible social and economic heritage. I always fought against the forces that shaped the hell of the last few decades. So I still feel justified to confront and condemn them for being assholes to all Boomers, and blaming me personally for their bad fortunes. I will not take shit from them in person or quietly suffer any of their "Ok, Boomer" crap towards my direction, because I personally have not earned it, along with probably lots of other Boomers.
@linxminx Exactly right. The ones leading our politics and our corporations are the ones who sold out the younger generations, not me. At the same time, the majority of Boomers did vote for Reagan and other members of congress and presidents of both parties that sold them out, but not me individually. I always voted for the most progressive candidates I could find and I also did my best to promote progressive or socialist policies. I did my best but was simply way out-numbered. So they have reason to hate and blame my generation as a whole, but I will not put up with being individually or personally blamed or insulted for being a Boomer by Millenials or Gen Z members who don't know me from a hole in the ground. I don't insult or put them down for their generational membership, as I know nothing about them individually, and just want them to return the favor.
