Life will keep getting tougher by the day going forward. The days of plenty are gone forever.... And yet this life is the ONLY game in town. We have to enjoy the ride one way or another. Sorry things didn't work out. Recharge and come back any way you see fit. Good luck

I had an art gallery in a small city for about 2 years. In the first year it won an award and it was always very busy on openings. I got rave reviews for the curating of the shows. I had teachers bring in students for art discussions. Artists loved exhibiting with me and people always wanted to know what I was doing next. It was wonderful and I learned a lot but never could make enough money for it to be viable. There just wasn't a huge market for sales and I didn't have deep enough pockets to fund it. But while it lasted it was great and I met many people who are still my good friends.
