Unless you're getting warranty work done on your car, don't EVER take your car to a dealer. That goes for all makes. They will all overcharge you, often do unnecessary work and sometimes even charge you for work that wasn't done. They will have nice waiting rooms and give you free coffee and like the picture shows, they will fuck you.

I know. I used to work at a dealer back in college. It was a co-op program so half of each semester was in the dealer service department. I hated dealing with the service writers and management because of that bullshit. They truely do bilk the customer in every conceivable way.
@Ceaselessmind They try to make up "losses" on warranty work because they work closer on labor. Even then they try not to help the customer get necessary "free" repairs they're entitled to so they can spend their time on "paying" hours. The "honest" dealers only overcharge for labor, the majority are flat out thieves.
Wow!! I did not notice that at the Toyota dealer.
